DeliciouSweets’s first “coquette show” began in 1998. The leader, Charma-Heidy supervises all the direction, create the choreography and the costumes, and five glamorous girls sing dance and do sketches. They represent the Japanese scandalous and silly young shocking movement! Wearing fancy handmade costumes and supported by punchy live music (the Onnayokocho-shibireboshi boys band) performing absurd and humane stages, DeliciouSweets are an energetic and unique “coquette show” troupe!

Since 2004, DeliciouSweets started to perform in “Misemono-goya” (heritage of Japanese traditional freak show), mixing live music, singing, dancing and magic in cultural places throughout Japan like the Yasukuni Shrine’s Mitama Festival, Urawa, the Ikebukuro Kisibojin Fextval, Fuchu Ookunitama Shrine, Sapporo-Jingu Festival and gain notoriety. In the other way, by participating to movements against redevelopment (for preserving traditional landscapes and buildings), DeliciouSweets shows also social convictions.
In 2005, they release the “Coquette Gaho” a pictorial magazine (96 pages color book) with the participation of Kenji SAZANAMI (Japanese music translator, Have translated “L-O-V-E” performed by Nat King Cole himself)
In 2006, DeliciouSweets have filled Japanese famous grand cabaret, Shunjuku’s “New Japan” and Uguisudani’s “Kinema Club” with one-man shows. They have also released the CD “Soreyuke! Harenchi! Suttonkyo!” and the DVD “Tsuppashire! Seisyun”. Charma-Heidy have Create the choreography of HANDA Kenji and NAGISA Yoko’s “Kakkoi Boogaloo” And DeliciouSweets perform the dance in the Video Clip.
In 2008, DeliciouSweets released their newest album “Nijiiro Hazumu Makkurasekai” and the DVD “Jituroku!Inochi-shirazuno gunbatsu Eizosyu”. The same year, their new “coquette show” takes place in Iogikan, a 100 year old Japanese house where they sing and act freely between the two floors. With the help of the Nakano ward education commission, DeliciouSweets have also performed in a tent in front of the Nakano train station. Passing people stopped their feet for the show they have never seen before. After the amazing success of this “coquette show”, DeliciouSweets have been invited to the free music festival of Kotobukicho where they performance melting acting and music have been a great success.
In October 2008, they dance behind NAGISA Yoko for her “NAGISA Yoko Geba-Geba Recital” in Shinjuku “Koma Theater”. The same month, to celebrate their 10th anniversary, DeliciouSweets organized the “Delicious Carnival Tobidase! Ningen Moody scandalous Show” in Shinjuku Kabukicho’s Grand cabaret “Club Heights” witch was a great success too. Also in October, they worked with the “theatrical experimental room, Banyuinryoku” for a stage that takes place all across Matsuyama city and enlarge their activity field.
In April 2009, DeliciouSweets organized again another show in the old Iogikan, the “ozashiki show”. This year the “Nakano tent show” will take two days (9 and 10 May) with the help of Nakano ward education commission. DeliciouSweets have also appeared as a main role in YAMADA Hirono’s movie “Basara ningen”. For this year, DeliciouSweets is expecting to participate to more and more outdoor Festivals and also their first foreign country tour.
DeliciouSweets’ activities are frequently featured in japanese newspapers and magazines and attract reader’s attention.
